INFORMAZIONI SULLA ZONA
The Ellenzer Goldbäumchen hotel is situated in the lovely village of Ellenz-Poltersdorf, right between Koblenz and Trier in the well-known Cochemer Krampen.
Several well-prepared walking and cycling routes are at your disposal. The hotel is surrounded by the Mosel bend and steep sloped vinyards covering the medival frame work houses. Beilstein, the sleeping beauty of the mosel, is situated on the opposite site of Ellenz and can be easily reached by foot.
Cochem is 10 km from Ellenz, for a visit to the 1000-year-old castle.
You can wander around the small streets of the wine towns and stop for tastes of very affordable wine.
COME RAGGIUNGERCI
By Car:
From the north:
- Take the A1/ A61 until Mendig (121).
- Continue driving along the main road towards A48 (Trier).
- Keep on the A48 until Kaisersesch (4).
- Turn left towards Cochem.
- Having arrived in Cochem, turn right at the traffic light.
From the south:
- Take the A61 until Rheinbollen (132).
- Take the B50 towards Kirchberg.
- Before arriving in Kirchberg, drive along the B421 towards zell.
- Before arriving in Zell, drive to Motitzheim and Genderich until Senheim.
- Turn left and cross the bridge, Moselbrucke.
- Then turn right.
- After 7 km you will reach Ellenz.
From the east:
- Take the A4/ A5 until the motorway junction Reiskirchener Dreieck (8).
- Drive to Giessen and Wetzlar until you reach Limburg.
- Before arriving in Limburg, drive along the motorway A3 until you reach the motorway junction Dernbacher Dreieck.
- Continue driving along the A48 towards Trier.
- Take the A48 towards Kaisersesch (4).
- Turn left towards Cochem and turn right at the traffic light.
- After 9 km you will reach Ellenz.
From the west:
- Take the A1 until Wittlich (123).
- Drive along the federal road B 49 towards Cochem.
- After 40 km you will reach Ellenz.
Ferry:
The hotel is located a short walk ( 500m) from the ferry terminal. The ferry runs from 09:00 to 18:00 for a charge of approximately EUR 1.00 per person.
